The Lemosho Route is considered one of the most beautiful Kilimanjaro routes. Starting from the western side of the mountain, it provides spectacular scenery, fewer crowds, and excellent acclimatization, increasing the chance of successful summit completion.
Enter Kilimanjaro National Park and trek through rainforest to Big Tree Camp.
Continue through moorland toward the Shira Plateau with incredible mountain views.
Climb higher for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Valley.
Cross the famous Barranco Wall and continue toward Karanga Camp.
Trek through alpine desert to Barafu Camp, preparing for summit night.
Start midnight summit climb to Uhuru Peak, then descend to Mweka Camp.
Complete the descent through rainforest and transfer back to Arusha.
